Ok, So Let’s Try Selling Things

I’m drawing a boat load of these things every week. One for each kid’s lunch every day they go to school, and a bunch of others that are little more than doodles, and are destined for the recycle bin. But even so, I make more on top of that that somehow feel more.. real? Perhaps it’s because I have covered them with expensive ink, but just stacking them in a corner to gather – and eventually become – dust seems… wrong?

So – I’m selling them. But here’s the absurd part – they are all – for now – staying under $6. And they aren’t prints – they are more than doodles, but less than “fine” art.

I don’t really use social media, and the price point doesn’t exactly lend itself to making it worth taking professional photography, so this will probably be a colossal failure. And of course we’re headed to global economic collapse, ecological disaster, and / or world war 3, so who knows.

All I can say, is that I would pay $3-4 for something similar without hesitation if someone were peddling it, even if it only ended up in my wallet.

So I’m hoping some other people will too.
